How is it legal to call people idiots and similar names in the US newspapers just because they are from the opposition is beyond me. Isn’t this defamation?

The support for Ukraine has slid down significantly. russia is getting way better support. And sadly many in the western countries have became pro-putin. We must wake up and support Ukraine asap fully 100%

Republicans persistently look for angles to attack Democrats from, the pettiness and moral ambiguity of Republicans means they don’t care about the actual harm their schemes cause as long as it helps them achieve power and the Russians have been able to deliver that for them.

I doubt that this is Putin’s stategy nor his cleverness, Putin wing of US Congress is out to fuck Biden at any cost, even if it involves betraying their own country. Putin wing of Congress and MAGA voters are out to ‘own the Libs’, it just happens to work for Putin beautifully.
Trump of course holds a personal grudge towards Ukraine since his blackmail efforts failed in Ukraine. Ukraine refused to fabricate criminal prosecution on Hunter Biden. This event led to Trump’s second impeachment.
