One Israeli was killed, and eight Israelis were wounded, including three severely, after gunshots were fired on Highway 1 near Ma’ale Adumim just outside of Jerusalem, Israel Police confirmed early Thursday morning.
Three terrorists were killed on the scene of the attack by armed civilians, police said. They have been identified as Muhammed Zuwarah, aged 26, and his brother Hathem Zuwarah, aged 31. Along with them was Ahmad al-Hush, aged 31. All three were Palestinian residents of Bethlehem.
Initial reports stated that the terrorists took advantage of a traffic jam on the highway. They came in two separate vehicles fully armed with an M-16 rifle, a Carlo submachine gun, grenades, and cartridges.
They then exited their vehicles and began to shoot toward people sitting inside their cars.
The two terrorists who began shooting and were neutralized, while a third who tried to escape was later located.

One of the injured is a pregnant woman.

I know one of the wounded from the terrorist attack. He got out of his car and engaged the terrorists, neutralizing at least one of them (i’m hearing rumors that he neutralized 2?) however he got shot during the firefight. He’s an incredibly brave and kind guy, I hope to visit once he’s out of surgery and ready for visitors ❤️
Edit: He’s fully conscious at the moment but other than that I don’t have many details on his condition.

It’s interesting that there’s people that will read this headline and come and comment “well 30k children dead” because they feel the need to defend Hamas instead of giving any sympathy for a random terrorist attack.

My condolences goes to the victims of this terrorist attack; I must say I’m impressed that this is the 2nd case (AFAIK) where civilians were able to neutralize attackers on their own.
Perhaps, Bibi’s policy of arming Israeli citizens is not too bad after all.
