Where the nuclear bros at? Going to defend this excellent perfect handling of nuclear waste?
Mass grassroots activism in the 60s and 70s pushed through most of our landmark, environmental legislation, including the federal statute on handling hazardous waste. Back then Republicans Cared about clean air and clean water, etc.
56000? How does that fucking happen? Someone made that choice? What does this do to the ocean? We are so fucked up, humans suck sometimes in ways that are hard to comprehend
Explain to me again, like I’m a child, how the Japanese are so bad for dumping filtered radioactive waste into the ocean near Fukushima?
And yet this isn’t international news?
Enter the pro-nuclear shills, whom always seem to reject conservation and energy efficiency as a companion policy.
EDIT-I know this is not waste from nuclear power production. But you’ll show up for this anyway.
But wait I was told regulations for the environment are bad? This is absolutely disgusting. Complete apathy for environmental effects from shit like this. Humans really suck.
