  1. They have to do it to compete nowadays sadly loved saying they was like one of three pure club s not owed by a billionaire but it’s simple the game has changed now and money keeps you in this league

  2. A lot of the oil rich billionaires won’t be overly interested. FFP looks like it’s really starting to kick in now, which will thwart any attempt to turn Brentford into one of the big boys any time soon.

    They don’t have a huge stadium or support either, so each year apart from the TV money, there isn’t going to be much play room with FFP rules.

  5. Isn’t Brentfords owner, or possibly his gambling analytics turned recruitment team, a big part of Brentfords success? Are Brentford fans worried about this?

  6. I mean if we haggle him down to £350M and everyone from r/PremierLeague puts in £106 (make it £110 and then we’ve got 13M to barter with and lawyers fees) we can own Brentford, and go about playing proper football 🫡
