  1. We kick the can down the road 1 generation, probably less.

  2. Silly Dems, trying to solve problems and pass legislation. In the House! Lolololl

  3. It will make the problem worse in 20 years but that’s just long enough for boomers to die off and for it to not be their problem.

  4. They have the audacity to name this bill the “You earned it! You keep it! Act” when it drastically increases the social security tax on people who make a decent living. Freaking Dems’ proposed solution to everything is “more taxes.”

  5. Yup another massive handout to boomers funded at the expense of millennials. Boomers get a bigger check, which they didn’t earn, and millennials will need to pay for it with additional taxes.

So far Democrats have increased property values about 100% in a massive handout to boomers while making it difficult for millennials to get their first home. They have increased Social Security payouts by about 20% and now they are going to tax “high earning” middle class millennials who make more than $250k to pay for it. No going after the rich who make $1m+. Just a big fuck you to the millennials trying to afford housing in pretty much and US city where modest condos go for $1m+.

Does the generation struggling to afford to have children get help? Nope, just another big fuck you from the Democrats as usual.

  6. If we truly have a progressive tax system than the people receiving benefits are only taxes on SS in relation to their overall income which would seem to be a good thing.

Of course the progressivity in our tax system breaks down toward the highest incomes which receive benefits from capital gains rates and dividend rates.

  7. So they want the go getters subsidizing the ponzi scheme .
