   Because defensive weapons alone won’t cut it, if Ukrainian victory is desired.

6. I very much appreciate this statement from the German parliament. Whenever it comes up, that Germany was still doing major deals with russia post 2014, you get a lot of comments from proud Germans who can’t handle it being pointed out.

   Even when it’s prefaced by how I am glad that the state has made a major pivot, I don’t want anyone whitewashing Germany literally blocking baltic countries from transferring weapons to Ukraine or being the most hesitant when it came to cutting russia from SWIFT (remember when that was supposed to be a big deal? Would have been in 2014…) That’s to say nothing of Nordstream 2. Thanks to the traffic light coalition for making the pivot that the previous governments could not.

7. Let’s face our duty as European countries now, time to give everything Ukraine needs to f*ck Poo-teen very deep…

9. So then we, as the west, need to get on a war footing and stop complaining about how defenseless we are. Re shore manufacturing across the western world of essential supplies, if we believe a draft may be needed, get those plans in place, build bomb shelters, nuclear weapons may be used, but we also need them for regular munitions in civilian area, we need food and water rations, citizens should be educated about emergency supplies during war time and instructed on building Go Bags. We need to stop sitting on our hands, and acknowledge that life isn’t always sunshine and rainbow, it can be scary, but that shouldn’t paralyze us.

10. If only anybody had seen this coming and warned about it for decades……

    Germany now trying to become reliant on China while we are spendng massive amounts on reshoring everythig from chips, to uranium, to helium, to everything else in supply chain. Good news is Mexico is now our biggest importer taking that spot away from China.

    About 8 years too late at this point. Germany was warned forever.

12. What is with this sarcasm and never enough actions/words etc? Just curious, everyone here and in other pro-ukraine channels is whining and complaining about everything. Only the ukrains themselves seem thankful. All other are giving the piss to every country which isnt donating or giving what a random redditor wants.
