Poland is concerned by pro-Putin slogans at farmers’ protests, saying Russian agents may be to blame

  3. Really, no shit! So the signs asking for Putin to save them finally gave it away?
    Not the Russian speaking agitators, not the fact that they started blocking truck’s going into Ukraine that were delivering weapons to Ukraine, or currently trying to stop trains heading into Ukraine carrying weapons?
    Polish farmers indeed have a beef with grain from Ukraine being sold cheaper than theirs, and yes, protesting is a way to get their government to work something out with Ukraine. But to stop weapons and ammunition to Ukraine should not be part of this, especially if you have already felt first hand this Russian system.
    I have to thank Poland for taking in countless Ukrainian refugees when this latest invasion began 2 years ago, and being steadfast supporters of Ukraine, but blocking weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, will leave blood on their hands.

  4. Obviously the Russians would be involved. OMG people, we all need to wake up! We’re finally seeing how Russian disinfo is completely endemic in Western media/online platforms, and we need to act now to stop it. It’s reached the point where the Russians can plant a tiny story like the Biden/Ukraine corruption fiction, and have a massive effect like *impeachment proceedings against the president of the United States*. With results like that, is it any wonder that Russia is using this same Twitter/X (run by Russophile Musk), Tik-Tok (run by pro-Russia China) etc to influence and even create the narratives for Polish farmers, American voters, Canadian truckers, and so on? Of course the Russians – and all our adversaries in this world – are doing this. It’s so cheap, so easy, and so effective – far more than nuclear weapons! – for bad actor states to destroy the Free World from within by planting these information “cancers”.

    If the democracies of this world want to survive this decade, they need to figure out how to prevent foreign governments completely taking over the information flow to their citizens. If things continue as they are, it is not going to end well …

  13. This seems to be Russian FSB modus operandi: find a fault in a county’s society, exploit it with lies & propaganda, let events unfold.

    This isn’t solely a Russian trick, espionage agencies around the world attempt this.

    One major flaw in countries with free elections is that there are idiotic halfwits that are easily manipulated. You appeal to their simple nature with a lie that tweaks them emotionally, you can cause a lot of grief.

    Those Polish Farmers would certainly be better off with Russian tanks rolling through the Polish countryside. /(sarcasm!!)
