Damaged agricultural equipment of Ukrainian farmers is being taken to the border with Poland in order to show the Poles the price at which Ukrainians get the grain that the protesters are pouring out.

4. From what I gathered it’s about Ukrainian grain sold on the market there that undercuts Polish farmers. It’s only something like 5% of the grain moved through Poland. At least that’s the excuse. A certain Polish political party with ties to Russia is agitating and exploiting the situation to Russias benefit. Operator Starsky said no one is protesting the sale of Russian grain there. They are working on measures to address it like changing the border crossings etc because now it’s stopping other shipments and dumping grain etc. it’s impacting rail as well as trucking.

11. While Polish farmers do have some valid points (like almost no quality control over imported food products) at this point, I believe the protests are hijacked by Russian sympathisers, if not outright assets.

12. Well, we all know that farmers are not the smartest of the tribe. They complain when crops are good and prices dtop; then complain when mother nature causes crops to fail and prices are high.

13. And yet somehow it is actually Russian grain that has seen the largest increase in EU/common market consumption since the invasion started. Ukrainian imports to EU/common have decreased since invasion. There is speculation that the Russian shipped grain is the stuff they stole from illegally occupied Eastern Ukraine.

    Stop funding the war. Stop protesting to benefit the invaders.

    1. Protestors are farmers only, not casual people, not country folks, no families, I would curb from referring to them as a whole nation, as all Poles are neutral to this.
    2. Farmers and Ukraine has their points, it’s all up to the politicians to solve this.
    3. Farmers will not react to any destroyed gear, requests or actions, because most of these farmers in particular are hired by Konfederacja party of Poland which are pro-ruzzian agents, that means as far as they will have any benefits from protesting they will continue that.
