I don’t think it did well, probably lying on it’s side, gimped, coverage was crap, many scientists X accounts are doubting this was successful, there is still no word, or proof this was a successful soft landing, and there is no word on the state of the craft, they actually cut the live footage abruptly

Can someone ELI5 the significance? We put people on the moon in 1969 and we put countless rovers on Mars in the last few decades. This feels like a 5k marathon after repeatedly climbing Everest.
