For anyone that cares: KBC Brussels basically doesn’t have any plans to activate Google Pay for their credit cards any time soon.

1. Kinda seems like a slap in the face considering we pay the same fees for the account and cards as KBC Brussels iOS users, but aren’t allowed to access the same features.

2. Banks in Belgium have less incentives nowadays to support Google Pay and Apple Pay. Numbers from banks who activated it show that those are barely used. Only a couple of power users use it often. On top of that this is fairly expensive to support. Banks pay fees to their issuers + fees to Apple Pay & Google Pay (much lower). 

   I’m therefore not surprised some banks decide to avoid supporting the whole thing.

5. Apple Pay is supported. My wife uses her’s. Frustrates the heck out of me.
