This was great traditional journalism by Fox News and a great job by Zelensky, but it wasn’t really a front page event on their website and got buried quick. It is putting pressure on House Republicans in a different way though.
What this is really doing which us valuable is letting certain Republicans in the house have some cover if they sign a house discharge petition. See the Republican party can’t win general elections but non Maga Republicans can’t win Republican primaries, meaning the shrinking middle ground group whenever they defy MAGA lose their jobs unless they have political cover. This interview makes it harder for someone to come on Foxnews and spew Russian propaganda, it is like a blocking effort. It makes it harder for someone to say something bad about Zelensky, it is amazing defense.
That Discharge Petition is a political bomb and the Republicans really can’t let it be triggered because if it is, it is brutal on them politically, that is what this interview is allowing to happen.

How did this get past the Murdochs? They seem to like sowing dissent and chaos to further their business interests. Is the conflict becoming too much even for them?
It is important to note that at no time does Zelensky state there is “no plan B”. Plan B is already underway in fact – the ever increasing steps the EU/other NATO and foreign allies are taking to resuscitate their own war industry and fulfill Ukraine’s military aid wishes. Along with the fact Ukraine is manufacturing more and more itself.
At least in the clip we see here, the Fox interview appears to be fair, surprisingly.
Zelensky is still working on his English fluency, I hope people do not jump on him if the intent of his words does not always come out in respect of the choice of words.
Zelensky is so inspiring. And it is very clear his soldiers, even the gravely wounded ones in the hospital, all have belief in him and Ukraine.
And Zelensky is correct: Since the spring of 2022 Ukraine has regained much: Kharkiv Oblast, all of Kherson north of the Dnipro, they have regained their shipping in the Black Sea, they have sunk many ruzzian ships, and downed many ruzzian planes and helicopters. In fact they have eliminated almost twice over the size of the original invading ruzzian force (it was estimated at 180K) in the process virtually eradicating much of ruzzia’s first tier military capability on the ground. And causing depletion of the heavy ruzzian armor reserves to the point we now see T-55 tanks being deployed.
