  1. Donations of all kinds are in a slump everywhere you look, just when Ukraine is facing a sharp downturn in international support. This is not a good time. This is not a good situation.

I’m down and disheartened and I feel gross writing anything even vaguely cheery, to say nothing of anything remotely advertisement-ish. Just so we’re clear on that. But it’s for Ukraine, so needs must.

This week, Ukraine Front Line is running a special auction and a special raffle. Two items each to mark two years since Russia launched its disgusting full-scale war of erasure on Ukraine. Each one is a token of Ukrainian endurance and defiance.

    **The Raffle**

A pendant containing sunflower seeds from a mined field near Bucha. The farmer risked her life to harvest half a dozen heads. A friend gave us a handful of her seeds, and we decided to use them to raise money to help Ukraine fight off the orcs who mined her field in the first place. A ticket costs $2.

A shirt with four bullet holes and a great backstory. Even if you don’t want to buy a raffle ticket, click through to read it. 😊 Owing to its extreme one-of-a-kindness, tickets for the shirt are $5.

    **The Auction**

Force, a sculpture wrested from a russian Grad rocket which failed to inflict significant damage on Ukraine, and which is now being used to help Ukraine fight russians and their stupid Grads off Ukrainian land.

The Price of Freedom, a flag signed by severely wounded soldiers from a whole host of brigades. They kindly donated and signed the flag so we can use it to raise funds to help their brothers in arms.

Whether you buy a raffle ticket, whether you place a bid or not, whether you donate or not … if you’re still supporting Ukraine through this time, thank you.

  2. I was like, oh that flag looks cool, clicked the link and saw a current bid of 1000$.

I am too poor for this but i hope you manage to get a lot of money for the defenders.

  3. Sorry for being dim but when I tried to donate, it only accepted an address in USA which I don’t have!
