There was an autistic boy who dropped a book, who cares if he was being careless – kids just are, he got death threats. A child got death threats. His mother had to put on a *religious article of clothing* and go to a local *place of worship* to personally apologize to the entire community. Now – reverse the situation. Imagine if a Muslim boy somehow damaged a Bible by accident and Christians going around making death threats and getting the boys family to put on traditionally Christian church clothes – not their own – to go apologize.
People would be outraged.
This sort of shit is just incompatible with our way of life, and our constant attempts of trying not to offend them and then tolerating it when they inevitably are offended and start sending death threats is only strengthening their conviction that how they’re acting is acceptable when it isn’t and has no place here.
