This image is a panorama. Left side of the image was captured with Nikon D750 & Samyang XP 14mm and right side was captured with Nikon D610 & Samyang XP 14mm. Both cameras were shooting the whole night and I used 508 images from each camera (30sec, 14mm, f2.8, ISO 1000). Out of those 508 images I used 15 for landscape to do stacking for noise reduction.
Basic adjustments in LR, star trails stacking was done in Photoshop and then merged in a panorama with PTGui. Blending was done in Photoshop along with all corrections.
Why does the sky look like a Munch-painting?
Gorgeous. Almost looks like a painting. Weird that I’ve never seen star trails photography before. Time to Google…
