  3. I guess it’s better optics to say they shot it down accidentally than to admit Ukraine air defenses are in any way effective.

    I find particularly pathetic they can resort to admitting incompetence as long as they avoid claiming the enemy has been successful.

    In most countries, you want citizens and servicemen to trust your own AA, not calling it unreliable.

    That’s hilarious, looks like both A-50 and Il-22 again.

  24. It’s funny that the russians blame incompetence rather then patriot. Perhaps the rumors are true and russian pilots are refusing to do combat missions with the patriots active in ukraine. Russia has also been posting fake videos of them shooting at patriot batteries aswell

  27. How many A-50’s does Russia have? I seem to recall 3 before 2 got shot down.

  28. The narrator of the first vid states that several missiles traced the airplane and one of them hit it. At least one of the other missiles crashed nearby without hitting the plane. (I’m thinking it might have be taken down by the aircraft’s defenses.)

  31. Russian air force is really pathetic, surely not prepared for modern air combat. If ukr had sizeable air combat capability it would make a huge difference.
