Hi everyone! I’m sorry I don’t speak Croatian. I’m coming from a non-EU country, where this particular medication (Cholestagel) I desperately need to treat my gastritis is unavailable. Hopefully I will be able to visit Croatia this year, so I wanted to find out if this particular medication is available in local pharmacies? According to this database it is registered in Croatia. https://www.halmed.hr/en/Lijekovi/Baza-lijekova/Cholestagel/9499/
But is it actually available? Is it widely available? And if you can find it in an online pharmacy, can you please link it so I can message them with my questions! I would appreciate any help!
I tried googling “colesevelam/kolesevelam” and there are very few search results from Croatia, it’s only mentioned a few times related to other medicines, so I would guess it is not available in Croatia.
You should ask a doctor, it’s anyone’s guess this way really. I was prescribed Emanera (esomeprazol) for gastritis.
ne kužim. ovaj lijek je za povišen kolesterol a ne gastritis.
There is a pharmacy in Zagreb near Dolac, don’t remember the name, but you can order whatever is legal, and pick it up.
With a good price u can find everything… hahaha
Do you have a plan where you are going? If you do, you could contact a doctor if you will get a perscription and also a local pharmacy if they have it on stock.
