For instance, the US involvement in Vietnam was not considered a military occupation on that list. But the South Vietnam has been under military occupation of the North Vietnamese.
Anyone with access to Wikipedia can tell that the US figure is nonsense.

u are misinterpreting what is clearly said to in the title and marked with green : military occupations. occupation is not invasion. the only way to make such a horrible mistake is intentional, to hide the fact that USA had incomparably more invasions (by definition: entering a country with armed force and no permission…occupation is when they stay), or this could be just a plain ignorance from your side. most of USA wars were invasions, since they have 19 giant aircraft carriers that serve that particular purpose. now check out any source about their wars since 1960 and look at that hefty number. im not saying russia good, USA bad, on the contrary, both of them are global threat, but trivializing fates of iraq, afganistan, lybia, vietnam and many others for the sake of weak argument is just bad.
