For those of you wondering, only the monarch (on the advice of the Honours Forfeiture Committee) can strip someone of an honour. Vennells’ statement a few months ago that she would return her honour essentially meant that she would stop using it socially; she continued to hold it officially until today.
Wow. I bet countries who don’t have an honours system wish that they could take such decisive and effective action against those guilty of criminal negligence.
Or look look we’ve done something about the whole bloody mess

Now, about perverting the course of justice…
Lives were destroyed and the punishment is we are going to take away your three letters of the alphabet. What a farce.
Evil evil evil woman.
Clearly hasn’t read the Bible yet spouts it out. Imitate Jesus??? She imitates the devil.
Jail time required for this individual. She destroyed the livelihoods/reputation and mental health of far too many innocent hard working people.
Will the powers that be jail her? Not a chance.
Idk how to word this exactly but she looks like she doesn’t have a face? Anyone else agree?
This is like a politician who broke the law stepping down from a position.
It is **not** punishment!
She should see her CBE swapped for HMP. She is not the only person responsible for the greatest miscarriage of justice in British history, however she was one of those most instrumental in it and she deserves to face the same sort of justice she inflicted on innocent postmasters.
Don’t forget to get the rest of them like Adam Crozier
