Great but… kind of beggars belief that it’s taken till 2022 to start to see this action. In 2021 some presumably still felt ‘gagging’ victims was a good idea?

I studied at Keele, seemed like there was at least one rape every year. I knew one of the survivors who was raped by a classmate, police and the uni wouldn’t do anything about it. She asked to be allowed to study from home so as not to attend classes with the rapist, and they refused to allow even that.
Place was a nightmare.
The fact that this is even a headline is horrifying.
