I’d love to believe that they see his inevitable financial implosion as an existential problem for themselves/the party, but until they start promoting Haley as the “best choice” for the party, I’ll take these headlines as a glitch in the matrix.
Fox News and Trump – they get together, are together a while, fight, break up, then get back together again over and over.
I suspect Cavuto will be applying at CNN in the near future. Fox hates truth, especially when it comes to Trump.

Trump is also becoming even less coherent somehow. He’s having a harder time landing the talking points and seems to be struggling to form words at times.
Trump’s oration ‘style’ has always been mostly bullshitting. He typically just meanders around a point and relies more on tone of voice and body language to instruct the audience on how to feel about it. Else he’ll just repeat things based on whatever gets applause.
So it’s not like he was starting from up high. But the improvisational style increasingly seems to be failing him and if he wasn’t hopped up on amphetamines he’d probably just shut down entirely.
