Had a council inspection, theyfound a full list of things to fix, after they submitted their report I get this. Landlord had increased the rent two months beforehand, so I don’t believe the ‘moving back in’.
I’m a single mother with two jobs so this is just great.

Wait 85 days then dispute it. Make the landlord prove they have no other option but to evict you. Try to get some legal advice and stretch this out as long as you can. Appeal if they decide against you. Hopefully the case with the RTB will give you enough time to find a new place.
I lived in a house on Morrison’s road back in 2007, the house also had issues, when I complained, I also got evicted. Happens all the time around town.
Definitely go into homeless services it’s down by St josephs school and show them that you should be able to get homeless HAP which will help pay your deposit on a new place as well, even thought I know it’s slim pickings at the moment but something will come up! I know the feeling of getting one of these letters it’s gut wrenching especially when kids are involved but It will be ok!
I’ve been hit with this 2 times over the years along with another time the landlord got his house repossessed by the bank for not paying the mortgage. Believe me when I say I understand what you’re going through because I also have 2 kids.
You’ve already been given more advice than I could give, just want to say I wish you the best of luck. It’s a shit hand to be dealt but I’m rooting for you.
