I don’t know. The Wall Street hype as usual could be inflated, but the crazy sales are REAL. These guys have had 60B usd sales so far and the craziest thing is that they have a 50% profit margin. It’s literally a money machine. Impressed to say the least.
Nah I think we are at another generational turn. We’ll see plenty of minor corrections but AI is here. Only bitter my Aug calls expired in Dec.
Yes and yes.
The main driver is that’s as generative AI has taken off, Nvidia saw the problem early. I.e computation in LLMs, the tech that powers GenAI like ChatGPT is costly and slow.
I think the tech is important. So if we need a bubble to get enough investment to build it out, then so be it. I’m in.
No. Their tech is on the forefront of a *massive* wave of automation. Trillions of dollars in cost savings (and job losses, but hey, for a brief moment a lot of shareholder value will be created).

Hence [they introduced a chip to tackle that.](https://www.cnbc.com/2023/08/08/nvidia-reveals-new-ai-chip-says-cost-of-running-large-language-models-will-drop-significantly-.html). Now all GPUs are these. Their timing was impeccable.
