Hello,
For a new job I might change from employee status to independent and I’m trying to compare the salaries.
I’m looking for a calculator to convert ~ daily rate into a monthly salary.
I only found this website: https://www.accountable.eu/resources/freelancing-vs-salary-revenue-simulator/
Does it seem correct to you? (Is net better for comparison?)
Would you have another to recommend?

It is very difficult to compare and depends largely on your personal situation and past and future choices.
Post some numbers and it will be easier.
Imho as a consultant:
4500 eur gross with benefits as employee compares to 550 eur/day as independant.
But give or take 30% depending on choices and risks taken….
Go talk to an accountant, preferably one that has experience with small businesses/freelancers in your field of expertise.
Private Insurance for invalidity and getting sick.
13th month, paid sick leave, amount of homidays.
Meal vouchers, company phone, …
Possibility for educational leave, parental leave
Car
…
How much time is guaranteed, how much time on filling your commercial agenda, how much time you spend on doing your paperwork, finances..
What at end of contract versus unemployment/getting paid out.
It gets quite complicated if you want to do a full comparison.
You should have a look at /r/befreelance
Xerius has an online calculator: https://www.xerius.be/bnc/app/fr/revenu-net/entreprise-personne-physique
Use that to try different options. A rule of thumb is to at least double your yearly gross income: you have to cover for holidays, sick days (long-term sickness can be insured with an insurance company), administration, all the fees.
