Russia & Palestine are resisting settler colonialism together
I admittedly do not follow Italian politics, but considering how far right she is, I have been pleasantly surprised by Meloni’s statements against Russia and her support for Ukraine and NATO, while so many other far right politicians have been so clearly in Russia’s pocket.
It is even more devious than that: Putin put pressure on Iran to push Hamas into a war they can’t win. It is part of a ploy to get Trump to be president. The Palestinian conflict is being shaped in the USA as a issue to keep young voters from voting for Biden and push third party candidates. If Trump wins Ukraine will permanently lose US support. It is probably the smartest move Putin has made.

If Ukraine had gotten enough aid to remove Russia from their land Hamas wouldn’t have gone through with their stupid attack.
So much new wars (Armenia/Azerbaijan), military coups (Burkina Faso, Niger, Gabon), attacks (Hamas, Yemen Iran proxy), occupations (Guyana) and so on. South Korea, Japan, Poland interest to theirs own WMD, and 34% of Taiwanese that see USA as trustworthy country.
And so on, it’s outright results of Russian (but also sponsored by Western “de-escalation”) advertisement of unpunished violation of International Law.
Future headlines
If Russia hadn’t invaded Ukraine, China wouldn’t have attacked Taiwan.
