As usual concepts are exaggerated. I have been working in corporate since 2010, right when I graduated. Of course there’s a lot that can improve but the positive changes that I have seen in 14 years are not irrelevant. Work from home (even just once or twice per week) was absolutely impossible to fathom. The attention to the environment/ sustainability was almost non existent. In 2010 if you talked about mental health at work they would have laughed at you . Today that doesn’t happen and I’m just talking about 14 years. Of course it’s still corporate, profit and share prices are the main guide but let’s stop pretending that things have not actually been changing. So much negativity and whining.

Never understood why excessive work is a flex. Time and time again it’s been proven that [burnout hinders efficiency](https://www.forbes.com/sites/forbescoachescouncil/2023/05/10/beyond-the-bottom-line-exploring-the-real-costs-of-burnout-in-the-workplace/?sh=731cbe3a1de2).
Resting isn’t a dirty word. It’s maintaining your body and your mind so you can keep doing the work (I hope) you enjoy.
The proper term is ‘fellaCEO’
