  7. An Icelandic dude I met backpacking showed me a trick to get the charger I bought in Spain to work in England by shoving a plastic knife handle into the bottom slot of the English outlet. Absolute legend for that, saved me 20 bucks

  16. We literally have the widely regarded best plugs and sockets on the planet.

    We also have some of the best wiring regulations on the planet.

    The only thing we have that’s not 100% great is the ring main but it was a necessity because of copper shortage during the war when we saved Europe.
