  1. Well thanks for that insight Sherlock, we had no idea!

  2. > An estimated 10,582 civilians in Ukraine have been killed and 19,875 others have been injured in the past two years, according to UN estimates. However, casualties are likely much higher as it is not possible to calculate those killed and injured in parts of Ukraine occupied by Russian forces.

Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Yemen were all UK supported tooth and nail and SIGNIFICANTLY more bloody. With the self awareness of a religious figure.

  3. Charles should be on the frontline leading our troops to battle. Slava Ukraini!

  4. Thanks Charles maybe you could donate something other than words. A children’s food bank for the uk. Use a palace for Ukrainian refugees, donate funding to charities. Words are easy actions not so much. Hyper privileged parasite living off the taxation of hard pressed British.

  5. I’m glad Charles keeps us abreast of global events.

  6. Not sure why people here are being so cynical. The statement in full was a statement of support for Ukraine. What else do people expect him to do about it?

  7. I know not everyone likes him, but this is why I do. His mother never really said anything her whole life, and fair play to her – but this guy has been opinionated since day one, and I was interested to see whether being King would encourage him to be quiet on this stuff, and for a while it seemed like it might. But nope, he’s still Charles. I’m not totally on board with a monarch but if we’ve got to have one then I don’t want a mute sitting on a chair, I want him using what percevied authority he has to speak out for what’s right.
