Truth is finally, officially exposed. By reliable sources (I hope all readers here know about Eurostat…) and taking into account the issue of cross border workers. Hopefully it will help demistifying the fake news spread lately on social medias, depicting Luxembourg as the Eldorado and inviting people, with absolutely no ideas on the reality of the country and its challenges.

  2. So, work in Luxembourg (index 257), retire in Adriatic coast of Croatia (index 46).

  3. Ireland has a huge GDP only from an acconting point of view. Reality is that avarage and median salaries are much lower than here. Our company outsource tasks and functions to Ireland because it is cheaper to hire people there.
    So, Luxembourg is actually the richest place in the EU.
