  7. I fucking believe it. The West refused to give Ukraine all the shit they needed to make the recent counteroffensive successful and then, after the counteroffensive flopped, wondered why it didn’t work out.

    But look on the bright side! At least we didn’t “escalate”!

  13. I do struggle a bit with this article.
    1. it’s not a matter of Ukraine waiting for F16 planes but it’s waiting for pilots to complete training as there weren’t any skilled pilots to fly them.
    2. Western armies are not equipped anymore for trench warfare requiring endles artillery shelling.
    3. Ukraine was/is not part of the EU or Nato, yet both the EU and the US have each sent over 75 billion euro in support thus far.

    Don’t get me wrong, I fully support the aid and I feel really bad for the horrible situation Ukraine is in. However the complaining about the aid is become a bit tough for me to swallow.

  17. A while ago our defence minister was chastised for calling out the Ukrainins minister for complaining. And here we are again with a Ukrainian minister complaining.

    Let’s face it, we all have that one friend who we always tell a different arrival time. We do it because we know if we didn’t they’d never be on time. You plan for the lateness.

  22. Jesus Christ, what the fuck is up with these comments? Ukraine is in a grinding war of attrition and they’re getting pummeled because of a lack of arms. Of course the defense minister is going to complain about late arms shipments, if they arrive at all.
