  1. prosperity and opportunity for the landlord and hotelier class only maybe

    Is Brendan out of touch

  2. There’s just the added bonus of not being enslaved to make money for the killing of tens of thousands of children under the United States of AIPAC

  3. …. and we have a far-right element going nuts against them because they’re too think to think logically and believe any bullshit spouted on Twitter or Facebook that these people are responsible for their ills….

  4. And they use words like trash and garbage 🤮

  5. >Last week he went for a walk at Malahide Castle, near where he lives, and had a realisation.

    >“I was thinking, this used to belong to one person. It belongs now to a whole plethora of people,” he says.

    >“The people who mostly use it a lot of the time are the foreigners who’ve come over here, and are working here and living here. They love all the public spaces. They access the things that we in Ireland don’t.

A bit of a weird part. Definitely still overwhelmingly Irish people who are in Malahide Castle, or public spaces in general.

    >I think we have to start building towards a population of 10 million.

    Why though? Why 10?

  6. > I think we have to start building towards a population of 10 million.

What is this obsession that people have. Where did it come from?

  7. If we were like america Enoch burke would be taoiseach

  8. We have been barely a proper first world nation for 30 years and now we need to adopt the failed multiculturalism experiment practiced by former empires (as a way for them to assuage guilt.) for what benefit?

Immigration is important to fill key roles but having an open border policy lets every chancer with a sob story take advantage of our charitable nature. It is also a drain on our economy.

If multiculturalism is so good, why is it practiced almost exclusively by Western European countries only and not encouraging Arab countries, China, Japan etc. to do so?

  9. Why on earth does anyone care what Brendan Gleeson thinks? Is he the soul of the nation or something?

He was my English teacher in school and he was a shit teacher, never covered anything like all of the course. In the midst of not covering the course (because he spent about a year on Hamlet due to it being the greatest piece of literature ever written) he decided to waste an entire English class telling us that whilst exams were important, what was really important was following your dreams and passions.

Not long after, Brendan resigned from teaching and followed his dream and passion by becoming an actor.

  10. If someone is a legitimate asylum seeker they normally go to Germany or France as they have better benefits.

We end up with the people without legitimate claims or who have a “questionable” past

  11. Out of touch millionaire talking complete and utter scutter
