Prob one of the last loads coming over the Crimea bridge. Time to cut off Russia’s resupply.
probably more reliable since they are more primitive and easier to get going
All fun and mockery, untill you understand it cost expensive javelins etc to shoot them.
There trading ancient shit, for expensive western equipment short in supley.
And when you here the official numbers, there still pumping out enough modern tanks each month.
Even tho there losses are massive.
I find this shit concerning, deffo not entertaining.
Russians will enjoy going up against the Abrams with those mighty T-62 Ronson tanks.
Dozens, that’s 2-3 days supply at current attrition rates. Without modern optics fitted they are just meat cans.
It’s fun to laugh at but they’re still producing tanks quickly enough to keep up with their losses as reported by ISW. That means these aren’t replacements but are in addition to their normal tanks. Even outdated tanks are terrifying if you don’t have the means to disable them.
Targets for GLSDB. And drones.
They may be old and shit but tanks attacking a force without tanks is terrifying. Ukraine also doesn’t have an unlimited supply of munitions to destroy them.
I do think Russia will be in trouble whenever old soviet stock runs low though as they’ll be forced to have to build new vehicles which takes a long time.
I love how the Ruzzians are world leaders in sustainablility. This old metal will be soon repurposed into coffins how nice of them.
Somewhere in Ukraine a scraper is seeing dollar signs
Hey, save me a few,…these will make great displays after the war. These antiques haven’t been fielded in years! The autoloaders make me nervous,…T-62’s still use a 4th crewman as a loader. Plus, I want to compare it to the T-64 which was arguably a much better design,…it just cost 3x as much to build, as the design that would become the T-72.
I guess the new ‘artillery’ pieces have arrived..
I just see targets and future firework displays 🤷♂️
Those don’t look drone-proof.
I’ed feel shit faced having to fight with that. Just drone fodder.
A crappy donation to the Ukrainians when they take back Crimea
Probably will be just used to soak up artillery/ decoil
Taurus could have stopped this months ago
T-62s against US M1 Abrams okay perfect matches
Boy. I’m sure geolocating this isn’t all that difficult for those who do that stuff.
It’s a shame that we haven’t provided Ukraine with proper munitions to take advantage of this tank grouping.
Yeah, can’t wait to see them exploding.
Museum stock
Cheap drone drops modified 55 mm improvised mortar round. No problem! Total cost $100.
To be honest, a T-62 is still better than no tank, which is currently what the west is delivering to Ukraine…
People should really stop making fun of these things. Yeah it’s absolutely a very old tank for being used by the so called second best army in the world. However the T62 is still a pretty potent weapon, it’ll kill you just as good as a T72 or something like that. Ukraine is also using very comparable vehicles like leopard 1 and M55S tanks, it’s not like it’s unheard of.
Don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of a 115 HE shell personally…
