The Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny has died in jail, the country’s prison service has said. The incident is likely to be seen as a political assassination attributable to Vladimir Putin. In his final appearance before his death, Navalny looked healthy during a video-link court appearance. Speaking from prison, he complained about the frequent fines he had to pay and asked the judge to send him some money ‘as my own is running out thanks to your decisions’.

  1. It’s not rocket science…Russian presidential elections will be held in March this year. The United States would not stand aside here either.
Washington’s love of interfering in the internal politics of other states is known to everyone. Navalny was certainly used to influence the course of the elections to establish Western "democracy" in Russia.
Perhaps their plan is to organize rallies and protests across the country in connection with the death of a b̶l̶o̶g̶g̶e̶r̶ political activist.

  2. He knew what awaited him.
    He gave his life.
In fact, so much wealth and wisdom and no creativity to solve the problem with their Ukrainian brothers.
The biography of these oligarchs says it all. They only think about themselves and no one else.

  3. How big has your ego and your need to be in the spotlight got to be think that going back to Russia would end any other way than it did…….did he seriously think he was going to make a difference?

  4. He was poisoned for a second time and nothing anyone says can make me believe otherwise.

Fly high you brave man. May you haunt Putin in the after life so that he will see not another minute of peace

  5. I don't know why they killed him may he rest in peace, but putin is better option for russia everyone else would bown down to the USA and do as they please .

  6. Putin had enough. He saw this guy smiling and laugh cracking jokes and said, "he's making a fool out of us, looking so high-spirited instead of being broken as he should be in this artic penal colony" I'm certain this video was the last straw.

  7. Smiles, all around. And then the next day, he was murdered. Rest In Peace, Mr. Navalny.😢
    💐🙏

  8. All Russians are kept responsible for his death. Even by Russian standards, such a killing machine is too gruesome for words..
    R.i.p. Mr. Navalny
