  1. Based on what we’ve been seeing here, I would guess the mortality rate from survivable wounds is considerably lower for Ukraine than for Russia.

  2. This figure and report, along with both Europe’s, Russia’s and Ukraine’s conscription reports, worry me evermore.

    Please say something nice.

  3. Weak world leadership creates these wars. Puppets of the military industrial complex.

  4. So roughly a 10:1 ratio – in line with what has been reported and discussed by military experts. It’s quite likely that ratio is even higher… Ruzzian cannon fodder

  5. If that’s true, Ukraine has a good chance to win war of attrition. They need to keep on going until middle 2026, then Russia will be mostly out of tanks, armored vehicles and will suffer close to 1 000 000 casualties

  6. I’m sure it’s must closer to 100K but Ukraine does have a much better rate of saving it’s wounded soldiers as where Russia leaves them to die.

  7. Dead makes sense tbh. Maybe a bit closer to 40k in reality. Casualties would be 3x that number in theory. So ukraine would look at about 160k total casualties compared to 400k+ from Russia. Perfectly plausible. People that claim the numbers are too low don’t understand how casualties work in war.

  8. Not saying the number is real, but for perspective the united states lost 58,220 service members during all of vietnam.

Ukraine actually evacuates their wounded and probably have unlimited medical aid from the entire western world. Tourniquets and modern body armour have made survivability a lot higher if you can just get them out fast enough.

My hunch is though, the wounded is astronomical. Which is why zelensky wont say.

The wounded to dead ratio of us personnel in Afghanistan was 8.5 to 1. So if you do the math it still might look really really rough for ukraine. Using the same ratio as U.S. troops in afghanistan that would put them at 263,500 wounded.

  9. I’m pro Ukraine but ffs that number is not credible at all.

  10. I think it’s much higher but 3 to 4 times less than the orcs.

  11. So for every 1 hero lost, Russia loses over 13 orcs. Heartbreaking Ukraine has to deal with this but such an impressive ratio, especially when considering resources. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦!

  12. that’s actually really good. So 1:10. Russia’s population is 140M vs. 36M for Ukraine. So basically Russia is hosed.

  13. This sub is hypocritical because it “glorifies death.”

  14. That’s actually much lower than I thought it would be, I was thinking around 70k. But 1 is to many, fuck Russia!

  15. I hate to say it but I think the count is more than 31,000.

  16. ITT people with bot IQs disingenuously conflating or mixing casualties with KIA, giving their own Russian propaganda inspired estimates, or starting their canned doom and gloom responses with “I’m for Ukraine but…”. Pulling for the men and women in yellow and blue, they’ve shown the world what resilience and courage looks like, and I hope they never quit.

  17. Not telling the truth won’t help Ukraine. Because when I look at that number, it’s not too bad, Ukraine shouldn’t have manpower issues, they are doing fine, they don’t need emergency support.. Sadly it’s not the truth.
