Of course they are gonna. Putin is gonna take full advantage of Ukraine running out of ammo. The West aka Republicans, are fucking this up and getting alot of Ukrainians killed for no damn good reason, by holding up funding. They got blood on their hands and if they continue holding out then Ukraine’s defeat will fall on them and them alone. History books will reflect what they did or lack of doing anything.
Russia will want to take advantage of the arms production their now war economy will have produced by then while the western productions are still lagging behind, before these can catch up.
The US can probably make a big difference if they will supply Ukraine with more of what they need, but with the Republicans falling more and more out of love with democracy and fighting almost a proxy-war for Putin in the US against the Democrats this is an uncertain factor.
Big question is for how much longer the Russion soldiers can be made to accept to die on Putin’s command and whether the Russian people can still be scared into passivity.
The Russian people removed a tyrannical regime before, over a century ago, and when oppressed enough they might do so again. Sometimes revolutions can do more good than bad.
Ukraine is done once Trump is elected, he doesn’t even need to be inaugurated to cause massive morale loss. There may well be a summer Russian offensive that just keeps pushing all the way until Trump’s election, which then adds fuel to the fire of low/high morale for each side and they keep pushing through winter, then on Trump’s first week he ends all aid with the stroke of a pen and Ukraine collapses. I give them about a year at this point.

Good thing the GOP decided to go on Recess without passing ANYthing. On top of this they time it so when they come back it will be the day of the government shutdown deadline.. March 1st I believe.

If we – the West – do not collectively get our shit together and do right by Ukraine, this could be the last year that a ‘Ukraine’ even exists.
There is a severe ammo and equipment shortage. The frontline is under the most stress it has been since the start of the all-out invasion.
I have followed the invasion since it started and always remained optimistic and hopeful but things are getting bleak **unless something is done very soon**.
The US needs to slap some fucking sense into the GOP/Republicans and Europe needs to increase its military aid dramatically. Otherwise, this year will probably be the toughest for Ukraine and Russia may gain the initiative.
It boggles my mind that Biden can bypass Congress to send emergency ammunition to Israel but for some reason he can’t or won’t do the same with Ukraine.

In some parts of the west, they want to just isolate themselves and let the rest of the world fight, thinking they are untouchable. A lot of GOP Americans hold this view. They are very confident in the US/canada being impossible to invade that they don’t give a shit about what’s happening in the rest of the world. If Europe gets overrun by Russia and Taiwan by China, who cares, they won’t dare try to invade north American. Unless Israel is attacked of course.
These people don’t realize or care how interconnected the world is these days and also we are all humans, you see someone doing something shitty you stand-up against them. Regardless of where in the world it’s happening.
The other is there are a lot of people, on both sides who just are tired of wars and think problems will just go away if we don’t fight. Some will probably just roll over and be conquered if they got invaded cause it’s just not worth it, even knowing they will lose their rights or even their life. You can’t say “No To War” when the other sides are willing to put that phrase to the test. Russia is doing that. Yes, we in the west could roll Russia over with our military but they know there is a strong anti-war sentiment and Russia is willing to push that as far as they can cause they believe the populaus doesn’t have the will to fight anymore.
I thought Russia is currently doing an offensive? Avidiivka and Robotyno and so on. How would it again So quickly in early summer?

An offensive is a waste of life and supplies they need to dig in and fortify what they have, and come to terms that there never getting Crimea and Donbas back. Their last offensive was a fail, and the next will be too unless NATO countries start to take it upon themselves to send in their own troops into Ukraine which will only ramp up more or Russias production and escalate this situation further.
Midterms always see a change in the House majority, usually to “balance” things since the President is from the other party. I hope these events make people see that no, you should not try to balance everything, sometimes one side is pure shit and they should not get any power until they get their shit together.
