King Charles banknotes will be released on 5th June
The bank of England says Bank notes featuring a portrait of the king will be issued for the first time on June the 5th they’ll only start appearing in people’s wallets gradually though as they’ll only be printed to replace those that are worn and to meet any increase in demand for notes
New banknotes with a portrait of King Charles will enter circulation on 5th June, according to the Bank of England. The portrait of the king will appear on all designs. The reverse side of each note will remain unchanged.
