I didn’t photograph mine but it wasn’t very photogenic. Tomato & pepper soup with bread.
**Recipe**
Put the carcass of chicken in a large pan and add two litres of water, four bay leaves, an quartered onion, a large carrot sliced, a chunk of celeriac sliced, some celery, a few allspice berries, peppercorns, some garlic and simmer for four to six hours to make a stock.
Drain the stock through a sieve.
In the large pan fry off some finely diced onion & peppers and then add two cans of chopped tomatoes, a container of passata, a small jar of tomato concentrate and heat up. Then add the stock.
Season to taste, maybe add some fresh basil and oregano
Blend with an immersion blender
Coffee
Tinned mackerel in tomato sauce on buttered bread. Honey on buttered toast. Marmalade on buttered toast. A bowl of rice crispies with walnuts, currants and milk, with cinnamon on top.
Home made beef and vegetable soup, same for dinner. Ate it 4 days out of 7 last week and have already lost a chunk of weight.
Just rice and furikake
Just toast with marmalade, its really breakfast though as I woke up at 12 after the night shift
Broccoli and Stilton soup with some tiger loaf
Looks like a perfect little lunch 🤤
Sliced apple is at least 30% better than apple on the core
Chicken and couscous salad, plus an apple 🍎

I made vegan “fish” tacos with home made hot sauce. Would eat again.
I had similar “bits on a plate” style but not the same bits.

Squeaky bean pastrami
Brazil nuts and walnuts
Lettuce, cucumber and celery with mayo to dip.
Niw I wish I’d had some olives too. <wistful face>
Scrambled eggs and wilted spinach on toast
A bananana, like a banana, but longer.

I’m having pasta that I made last night. I can’t remember what the pasta is called but it looks like maggots. There’s a bit of pesto, some olives with chili something-or-other, chick peas, pumpkin seeds and cashews plus some oil and a bit of chicken fat. Topped off with some grated cheese. For pudding I’m having two chopped up nectarines and a chopped up banana.
Fish and a rice cake, same as my dinner
A 2 x fish finger (yay diet) sandwich with homemade tartar sauce. Put too much pickle brine in so it was runny and went everywhere but it did stretch it out. Almost under 80kg (12’8″) and aiming for 76kg (under 12′) before baby arrives.
I had last nights leftover roast chicken in a sandwich
Pork chops, apple sauce and cheesy leek potato
That’s a nice-looking spread. I had a bagel with cream cheese, red onion, smoked salmon, dill, and a spritz of lemon juice.
Mmm, apple, olive and salami – a marriage made in heaven
I boiled 5 portions of veg and some potatoes in stock for 45 minutes, chucked in the blender to make soup. Now I’ve done all the healthy stuff I need to decide if I want pizza or a kebab for tea
A caramel snack a jack and Lidl’s rip off skips which taste somewhere between regular skips and a prawn cracker
Nothing
Glass of wine. Might heat up a cheese and ham pasty lol.
At lunch I either go all out and make something from scratch (my job comes with a lunchtime lull with no activity), or get very lazy.
I got hardly any sleep last night, so boring tuna mayo sandwich it is.
Margarine make me sad
Tomato soup and crumpets 😍👌 the soup fills the holes in the crumpets when you dunk them, and it’s one of my fav meals.

Just ate a whole block of halloumi. Cut it up and put it in the air fryer, cooked to perfection. But i think it might of been a bit too much cheese… having cheeseburgers for dinner
Ham and cheese sandwich with mustard. Ham was done in the slow cooker earlier and is fucking gorgeous.
At work til 9 tonight, so a roast pork & stuffing sandwich for lunch.
Got re-roasted pork & apple mash, with chips & sweetcorn for dinner. Love Sunday roasts, but its alot of work, so I gotta make the effort stretch.
I wish I had taken a pic. I had a venison steak with peppercorn sauce as I wasn’t sure what sauce to have with it.
I made a salad with roast chicken, cucumber, red onion, tomatoes, mixed leaves, French dressing. Had a few little scotch egg bites on the side.
That’s an extremely posh lunch.
And also, yuck. Olives? Get them the fuck out, the most evil of foods.
Can of dark fruits, happy Monday
I had cheese on toast with chilli flakes, very yummy.
Now eating some salt and vinegar discos as an afternoon snack before dinner
