Well done Germany and Bulgaria! 120,000 is a significant number.
Spoiler: it’s being produced by Bulgaria, who are still able to make Soviet-era shells.
Thank you.
I think this is the key section of the article
>General Christian Freuding, the head of the Bundeswehr’s Situation Center Ukraine, noted that there is no shortage of money. Germany has allocated about €7 billion for 2024 alone. The main problem remains the availability of ammunition on the world market.
“Unfortunately, artillery ammunition and anti-aircraft weapons are not widely available worldwide,” Freuding emphasized.
To me that means there’s less of a political issue and more an issue of supply chains, production cycles and other boring stuff, at least regarding ammunition. For other things that might be different tho.
Slow clap.
Bravo.
Great, now go go go
# Good job, Bulgaria! 🇧🇬 👍
They found them down the back of the sofa?
I find all sorts of things down mine
If they manage to find and save enough shells and recieve their f16s I have a good Feeling for the next counter offensives
How long would it take to manufacture them, it seems like most eu countries have their own plants, 2 years notice yet still cant produce enough?
