I’ve been running around Malta’s coast (trail running, or trying…) and found many red dots painted into stones, especially near Ta’ Marija Cave. Photo attached.

I assume it must have been some sport/trekking event. Does anyone know it? I’m looking for the GPX track.
PS: Malta’s coast is beautiful. But it’s quite difficult to go around, and finding owners threatening you is common. Quite sad.
