I’m not sure what they’re getting at with these gestures. Like the “Fortunately” is something you’d do when you’re being held at gunpoint for instance.

Pretty sure that’s Pie Corbett and his Talk for Writing scheme, used to help children with putting actions and gestures to their words as well as other ways to make building writing in general easier and more structured. Younger children really enjoy putting actions to words, it helps them to remember parts of a story or form more interesting sentences. Sincerely, a Primary school teacher 😊
