I have been mentioning this before:
Put western troops in the west of Ukraine so we can learn from them while we support them by taking some of the responsibility of protecting the border against Belarus.
About time.
A statement like this should have been made at least a year ago, if not the day it became apparent this invasion wasn’t going to be a walk in the park for russia.
It’s scary that it may come to this, but the bottom line is simple. For global stability, Russia cannot come out of the conflict with anything resembling a win. How much they lose, that’s up to them.
