As someone who had to do this for years, it honestly wouldn’t surprise me if this was build up from one day. The bottoms of the cartons would come off the delivery absolutely sopping. Many an all black uniform left with some very questionable stains after doing this every day.
But how was their lingerie section?

Milk should be on milk trolleys in the fridge like the other supermarkets. It’s easier to clean and better for staff and customers. Dunnes can’t seem to keep with the times.

I remember having to clean them when I worked in my local Centra, thankfully it was cleaned fairly frequently/ ishhh. Not that bad of a job when it’s done noun & again.
Quick hot water and suds sorts it. If inspectors or whatever came around, that defo be written up for hygiene standards.

When restocking milk everything was given a quick wipe down because it made cleaning at night easier, and kept the place cleaner for the customers. When restoking the shelves near it the milk shelves were also given a quick wipe because it gets messy quickly. It was my first time working in a Dunnes and I always wondered if it was just us who had high standards or if it was Dunnes.
