And blackmailing people by taking away their fun time privileges will probably backfire, sending them down conspiracy rabbit holes and creating an even greater divide in a part of society that’s untrusting of authority figures as it is.
This whole CST thing is a terrible idea and I’m saying this as a fully vaccinated person with a CST.

CST won’t fix anything if it isn’t enforced and the Brussels government won’t do anything that ruffle the feathers of their backwards thinking voters so it’s a helpless situation.

I just returned from Switzerland where a corona certificate is required as well for bars and restaurants. I was checked every time! The personnel in their horeca fears the sanctions if they do not check their patrons.
Swiss culture will be quite a bit different from Belgian but if there is no risk to anyone involved this will indeed be an empty measure which will not lead to more vaccinations or less spreading of the virus.

Also vaccination passports are a draconian measure that should never be implemented. You are not safe from infection if you are vaccinated, and you are not safe from hospitalization if you are vaccinated. The mortality rate is lower, that is it. (see studies Israel) So vaccinated will have the same risk sitting next to a vaccinated or a non-vaccinated person.
Personal experience however i work in a café where nobody was vaccinated and now the whole crew got vaccinated because of the cst!
By January next year every one in Brussels will have antibodies, be it

Christelijk Europese landen zoals Bulgarije en Roemenië hebben het laagste aantal van gevaccineerden van de EU landen. Op hen ben ik net even pissed als die pipo’s in Brussel. Maar laten we gemakshalve alle schuld op 1 groep afschuiven, das echt te goedkoop..
