Good question… but we found that all revolutions must end with their natural conclusion. The death of the king and his race.

Monarchism in France has disappeared since the refusal of the Count of Chambord to return to the throne in 1873.
Fun fact, he renounced the throne because he did not want to fly the blue-white-red flag because it was the symbol of the French Revolution and he wanted to take back the white flag which was in force before the revolution.
Not popular at all. Royalists are very very very minors.
Instituting a monarchy in France would mean making catholicism the state religion (the French monarchy and the catholic church are so intertwined it’s impossible to imagine one without the other, and therefore the few monarchists that exist in France always advocate for making catholicism the state religion). This would go against the principle of secularism that French people are extremely defensive about for historical and cultural reasons, not to mention catholicism has been growing weaker and weaker in France for some time now. I think that’s a big difference with, say, the UK and its rapport with state religion.
Why would it be popular? Only a bunch of clown dwelling in the depth of YT royal anthem video are royalist, and not for a constitutional one, the real deal. Usually victim of delusional nostalgia of grandeur. They don’t realize they would be peasants.
Who would be the king? Doesn’t make sense, the line is so old and diluted from a monarchist logic…
What does it changes? We already have a king, he’s elected every 5 years.
I will end by saying Europe has shown how the kings and queens in CM are fucking useless and rotten parasites.
It’s popular as a turd that won’t flush
Apart from Isabelle Adjani, there may not be any suitable candidates for the positions of King or Queen.
Less than the guillotine. And it has been years we haven t used it
Fuck monarchy. Retarded system
Absolute monarchy or nothing for France IMO
go big or go home
