It doesn’t matter if it’s a z-supporter or Navalny supporter, they still dream of building an empire. This is the reason why Ukrainians do not believe in so-called “Russian opposition”, and are not in a hurry to make friends with “liberal” Russians.

when redditors face reality and see their demi-god Navalny wasn’t the second coming of Jesus Christ just because he was (a populist) against putin (trying to build an ever more efficient war machine out of russia): 😱
It’s been made pretty clear with time that Navalny was no god and savior, or friend of the west who bled freedom and democracy from his pores. He was mostly lionized as being a semi-popular alternative to Putin, who actually stood up to him even in the face of personal danger. But I’m sure he’d rethink his decision to return to russia after he was almost poisoned to death by Putin, if he had the benefit of a save game to restart from. I thought it was patently stupid of him at the time, and i was proven entirely right. Martyrs don’t win elections, and his decision making processes proved to be rather faulty in the end.
Crimean sandwich is hard to forget.
