  1. Nice. Hopefully more artillery rounds are on the way. I’m looking at you Czechnia.

  2. Das sind gute Nachrichten und jetzt liefere endlich die TAURUS, Olaf. Vielleicht kann Deutschland einmal die Initiative ergreifen und die Angst vor der eigenen Courage überwinden.

These are some good news and now deliver the TAURUS already, Olaf [Scholz]. Maybe just once Germany could take the Initiative and not be afraid of it’s own courage.

  3. Ukraine needs to be able to fire 20k rounds per day to get the advantage. That means barrels and systems must be maintained as well. I dont know why the west cant seem to understand this. You cant just ask the artillery men to get more accurate with less. They don’t the troop training to make that possible. On top of the rounds they need an insane amount of mortar rounds while also maintaining a high level of fpv drone usage.

This is all possible if the west would just put their collective asses to the task. Russias economy is absolute dwarfed by the west.

  4. Germans are really pulling it out of the bag lately, it’s about time I poked my local MP again.

  5. How many wisent do we have to deliver? I’m just curious. At my time at Bundeswehr they said they have just a few?

  6. Europe should just donate everything they got. As long as Ukraine depletes Putin he can’t attack anywhere else.

  7. EU PLEDGED 1 million artillery shells until March. Only 52% of its goal, 524 000 shells will be delivered by the original date. It our collective shame.

But 14.000 rounds of 155mm ammunition comes from Germany now. In context of the war, Ukraine uses 240 000 pieces of 155mm shells in a MONTH. To be precise they used to. Germany pledged 120 000 artillery shells in this year. That is still half of a month worth of UA’s need.

Germany is the 3rd biggest Western Arms dealer. The 5th biggest on the world. It has the biggest industry in the EU. Yet still spends under 2% of its GDP on its military.

In contrast (and sure late but still coming) the Czech Republic is able to source 800 000 pieces of artillery shells with financial help.

Denmark is also giving all of its artillery ammunitions to Ukraine, after they gave all of their artillery (CEASAR SPGs) to Ukraine last year.

DRIP FEEDING UKRAINE IS NOT THE WAY. Not turning our industry into a military industry is not the way.

  8. The Germans are doing their level best but 14k rounds of 155 is nothing. Denmark (please their souls!) is donating its entire artillery stockpile to Ukraine—about a half million rounds, which helps but isn’t enough.

South Korea produces more 155 mm ammo than any country on Earth. The only other country that still produces enough 105, 120 & 155 mm shells to keep Ukraine in the game is the US.

Unfortunately, we have a dumb-ass system of government that actively encourages obstructionism by noisy minorities.

  9. Very good. The only thing I wonder is why we no longer supply Panzerfausts?

Is it because of the shorter ranges and drones do a better job or because of production capacities?
