As of today, Ukraine reported loses that amount to roughly 31,000. Russia has just surpassed 410,000.

This alone should be the reason the UN and US up the amount of firepower donated to Ukraine immediately.

Any Russian who find themselves in Ukraine should expect to be just another tally on the inside of a AFU soldier’s helmet (as well as fertilizer under their boots).

  1. I really hope you don’t believe that number… when this war is eventually over, the public is going to be shocked at just how many have died on both sides

  2. I mean I support Ukraine over Russia in this war but this number does feel very low

  3. No, the 31,000 number doesn’t include wounded, yet the number for Russian casualties does. You’re comparing two different things.

  4. I do not believe the Ukrainian government’s stated number, any more than i believe russia’s of their own losses. Not because i think Ukrainians are liars, but because they’re in the middle of a war for their very survival, and if the true number would be a huge blow to their people’s morale, then they can wait until the war has been won to find out the real toll. In desperate times, you do what you have to do.

  5. That number is obviously heavily downplayed… you don’t lose ground on the whole frontline if you have such a high k/d ratio

  7. In post 2-3days ago, was told that Zelensky? said somewhere its 31k UA and 180k RU, thats unfortunately 1:6

    410k is dead and wounded RU, which I seen many times here noted, that losses normaly are 1:2 (dead:wounded) in most conflicts in past too

  8. Needs to be 100:1. Write your representatives and demand effective action. Thousands of armored vehicles, tanks, planes, missiles, mortars, artillery, rockets, drones, etc etc etc sit idle and will likely remain unused until taken out of service, not even seeing action if a conflict did erupt in the next few years because they aren’t designed for the likely theaters or conflicts. The time is now. The purpose for the equipment is Ukraine.

  9. Ffs take this post down it’s wildly misleading and that is the constant problem. You are comparing Ukraines assessment of Russia’s casualties which includes KIA, WIA and MIA and maybe capture with their own confirmed KIA.
