  1. The only comparison where Luxembourg isn’t tiny

  2. Lots of other territories during the 19th-20th century: intermittent Germans.

  3. Why not the following

    * Hill Germans
    * Swamp Germans
    * ~~Gas~~ Petrol Germans
    * Greedy Germans
    * ~~Basement~~ Mountain Germans
    * Inbred Germans

  4. The valley shitters are called basement germs already

  5. They forget the reserve swamp Germans or human shield Germans

  6. where’s the beach germans (danes), forest germans (swedes), and autism germans (norwegian)?

  7. If you want ammunition for the “swamp Germans” designation:

    The reason the Dutch are called the Dutch and the Germans aren’t called “Deutsch” in English is because “Dutch” would basically be the anglicizing of “Deutsch.” Before Martin Luther standardized German based on a high German dialect, areas we now consider “German” existed along a dialect continuum with the areas now considered “Dutch.” Had Martin Luther been born in Niedersachsen along the modern day border, it may very well have been that the “Dutch” dialect would have been standardized into the “German” language, and the Austrians left as outliers. One can see the similarity in the etymology in question: “plautdietsch” or “dietsch” compared to the Old Dutch “diets.”

    However, history played out as it did and with both the unification of the United Provinces and standardization of Dutch, and the aforementioned standardization of German, the two languages became permanently distinct and different over time.

    This is partly, however, why the German dialect in Pennsylvania is called “Pennsylvania Dutch.”

  8. Would you classify the UK as Island Germans? Those lovely Saxons are a great part of our history.

  9. My proposal:

    – Germany – Vanilla
    – Germany – Swamp Edition
    – Germany – Pocket Edition
    – Germany – Mountain Edition
    – Germany – Catholic Edition
    – Germany – Mountain Edition + Alternative cosmetics DLC (no one has actually played it)

    You forgot one though:

    – Germany – Edition Française (Belgium)

  10. You’re forgetting 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿: Island Germans.

  11. We are talking about “Germans”, 19th Century Edition, right? Right? The Great Migration/Barbarian Invasion doesnt count, right? Because, if counts, you are fucked…

  12. Ze germans are like trivial pursuit there is an edition for everything.
