>‘[If you] put him with rapists and paedophiles, I know because he told us, he is going to kill as many paedophiles as he can.
‘I’m not condoning what he did, but…the people he killed were really bad people.’
It’s darkly amusing that this man has been held in solitary confinement for decades for doing exactly what much popular press has spent much of that same period telling us should be done.
Obviously if he has a history of murdering inmates he can’t be released into general population but I reckon you could stand to give him some music and some reading material.
Morning Clarice
Has the lambs stopped screaming yet?
For this kind of rag it is a remarkably sensitive piece considering how sick and twisted his murders have been, even with the victims being who they are. People who get off on murder can use any excuse to feel justified in what they do.
That story is terrible, there seem to have been so many points at which his life could have been set down a different path. He cannot be released but the question of how such people should be treated is important. Punishment and rehabilitation are irrelevant for anyone facing what is likely a whole life sentence. Do we not lessen ourselves by refusing such a person basic comforts?
Isn’t Lucy Letby in a prison cell that looks better than your average student accommodation? Whereas this is now an old man who’s been locked in a glass box for 40 years for killing child abusers.
Seems just slightly unfair.
Sounds like he’s gonna be on ebay listed as in “Mint Condition.”
Ill give him my netflix subscription if the prison let him have a tv
To anyone not familiar with this story, you might want to read up on it.
He didn’t randomly start killing p*dos. There was something very specific that happened to him that triggered this and you’d probably understand why he did what he did.
Not justifying it but it’s very interesting.
And yet he looks like Rodney from Only Fools And Horses?…
