Was out for dinner with herself at the weekend and the menu had horse steak, hare, veal and eel. Feel free to guess what country we were in.
Normal enough up here in Finland to buy and eat horse meat. It´s actually quite good, cold smoked is awesome.

As a vegetarian, I don’t really get why people treat horse meat and pig meat differently, provided they’re both up to food standards? If anything, pig meat should be grosser given pigs’ association with dirt.
