  1. Send it. I don’t get why this wasn’t done ten years ago.
I also don’t get how western countries were able to introduce hundreds of new sanctions against Russia following Navalny’s death. All those sanctions should have been in place since 2014.

By Feb 24th 2022 there shouldn’t have been anything left to sanction.

  2. I know this is down the road a bit, but I’m looking forward to the day when we see Russian money rebuilding Ukraine and making it stronger than it ever has been.

  3. Do it! Show all dictators of the world that there is a real price to pay for illegal aggression and crimes against humanity

  4. Politicians be like “Does that mean we have to return the ~~bribes~~ donations?

  5. She does realise she is the treasury secretary and previous fed chair right?

It’s like a fireman saying ‘blimey, someone really should put that fire out’

  6. Lol that’s a slippery slope. Today Russia, tomorrow China, next time who knows when your money will be taken from you if you go against the West. This is anti-business and they will not do this if they are smart.

  7. I’m tired of western leaders talking about this or planning to or whatever JUST DO IT!!! Not even worth posting it here otherwise.

  8. These funds could be useful as a bargaining chip in a peace treaty, if you give them away you lose that chip.

  9. The move will end the reserve currency status. No one will ever trust us agen. Russia hopes we do it just for that reason

  10. would russian citizens who bought stock in Google or Meta be impacted by this?

  11. All those old fucks are actually trying to do exactly what Russia wants.
